Code of Conduct

Twinheim > Who We Are > Code of Conduct

Welcome to Twinheim Gaming and the D&D Adventurers League! We’re thrilled to have you join us for some fun and adventure. To ensure that everyone has an epic time, we ask that all participants (players, dungeon masters, and volunteers) follow our Code of Conduct.

  • Respect others: Be respectful of all participants, regardless of their gender identity and expression, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristics. Use respectful language including a person’s stated pronouns, listen when others are speaking, and avoid talking over others.
  • Respect boundaries: Avoid using excessive vulgar, sexual, or overly mature language or themes. Let’s keep the focus on the adventure at hand.
  • Follow the rules: Follow the lead of the dungeon master and avoid arguing over rulings.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings: Please avoid phone conversations at the table, and refrain from using apps or programs that will be disruptive to others.

Twinheim Gaming maintains a Zero Tolerance policy for any behavior that makes others feel unsafe, such as:

  • Sexual harassment or derogatory language, such as slurs, comments, gestures, or jokes
  • Bringing alcohol (subject to venue restrictions), illegal drugs, or dangerous weapons onto the premises
  • Actual or threats of physical aggression
  • Theft

If you see something, say something. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable due to the words or actions of others, notify our team immediately. Our team wears red shirts with the Twinheim logo displayed and can be found at HQ at all of our events. To report a violation anonymously, please use this form: https://forms.gle/LiWNTF65TPwmBfNQ7. All reports of violations, anonymous or otherwise, will be kept confidential to the extent possible. For more information, please view our confidentiality policy here: https://www.twinheim.org/confidentiality-statement/

No one is exempt from these rules and all allegations will be taken seriously. Anyone who violates the Code of Conduct will be given a warning. If the behavior persists or is particularly severe, or includes anything in the Zero Tolerance section of this policy, the person will be asked to leave the event or premises. We reserve the right to escalate to removal if, in Twinheim’s sole discretion, warranted. If necessary, law enforcement will be contacted. Anyone who has questions about consequences imposed by Twinheim staff can ask to speak to an event admin, or email [email protected].

We want everyone to have fun at our events. If you’re having any issues that aren’t covered by the above guidelines, do not hesitate to talk with our HQ Staff at an event or email us at [email protected]. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue and make sure everyone is having a great time!
